Burger Edge partners with LOKE to deliver revolutionary customer experience

We are very pleased to announce that market-leading QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) franchise chain Burger Edge has partnered with the LOKE Digital team to deliver a solution that allows them to engage with their customers via one of the world’s most innovative digital loyalty and customer engagement platforms, Tidy.

The Burger Edge team were exploring how to drive greater customer loyalty and ultimately revenue across their ~30 (and growing) locations around Australia. They found that existing card-based loyalty programs were extremely limited in that they did not provide direct communication with the customer, were poor data collection and offered limited reporting, were difficult to integrate, expensive to administer and ultimately unpopular with customers.

Burger Edge had a very specific set of goals they wished to achieve from their customer engagement and loyalty program, one that none of the solutions they looked for globally could deliver. Burger Edge wished to reward customers for their spend, as is standard via a loyalty program, but at the same time wished to better drive incremental sales through targeted mobile marketing of offers and rewards to their loyal customers, in order to increase the value of each customer via incentivising customers to spend more per visit and visit more often, ultimately maximising the value of their customer base.

One of their mission critical goals was to maximise the growth their membership database through creating seamless signup process which required no internal resource consumption and administration. They also did not want the unit cost associated with card-based programs. Another key focus was to gain a greater understanding about their customers’ social, and professional demographics, thus required significant social integration. Last but certainly not least, Burger Edge was searching for a way to track the return on their marketing investment through integrating campaigns into their transactions with their customers and gain full visibility through granular reporting and business intelligence integration. Finally, the technology needed to be flexible to be able to plug into their existing ERP system, consequently a flexible API was a must.

Only one solution was able to cater to all the above and more, thus Tidy, LOKE Digital’s POS-integrated mobile loyalty and customer engagement solution with integrated mobile payments was the natural choice.
