What’s mine is yours — a joint finances battle

My husband is in school so by virtue of the fact that he has almost zero income, we are 100% joint. The idea of him taking out loans with high interest rates to pay for things that I could pay for makes zero sense to me. It’s easy now because we hardly spent money anyway and most of what we spend it on are joint expenses. I’m more of a spender than he is but not by much, and it doesn’t really matter since I make all the money anyway.

I have no idea what it will look like in the future, but for now it’s just a big (small) ol’ pot we’re both dipping in and out of.
