Okay. Don’t judge. But I have a confession.
So I woke up this morning, did my stretches, had breakfast with hubby, and when hubby left for work, I promptly crawled back into bed.
Not only that… but when the blinds went all the way up at 9:30AM (they only partially go up at 7:00AM, just enough to let the sunlight peek through), I didn’t flinch. In fact, I didn’t get up until 20 after ten.
Yep. I did that.
As I said yesterday, this new routine is making me quite exhausted. It was sunny this morning and that didn’t even help with making me feel more awake.
I don’t have enough data now to determine what it is that is causing this. Is it simply the fact that it’s a habit change? Or is it that I need more than 7 hours of sleep? Or maybe this has to do with the fact that I was at a special event last night where there was an alcohol pairing with every course of the meal and so I had consumed more than I normally would have on a school night?
So despite this unfortunate lapse, I will truck on until the 25th of May before I reevaluate if there’s anything I need to change about this routine to make it stick.
