I didn’t think that meme was funny, because it’s just old. As far as humiliating Monica goes, I think it’s been so long now that whoever does it is plain boring. But I’ve read through the comments and honestly I don’t get why so many people are shocked it was such a big deal. Anything having to do with public people will be judged by a public. So you either don’t care or you do, but in both cases you expect it. And the stereotype of the intern having an affair with the boss is as old as it is true. Stereotypes aren’t fabrications of the truth, they’re exasperations of it. And one last thing: until we keep pointing the finger at the differences between men and women, there will always be differences between men and women.
