Robin as Jesus

If Jesus died for the sins of Christians, then Robin Williams died for the rest of us.

Erika Moen says it completely and totally in her comic with this one line, “Today I realized that if the suicide of a stranger I never met could feel like a personal, painful loss, how much worse would it hurt my own friends and family even more to lose me?”

Exactly.

Am I terribly sad for Robin’s family? Yes. Am I terribly grateful for Erika Moen’s sentence putting it all into perspective? Yes.
