It is amazing how times of necessity bring people together under the same roof, although it could sometimes mean stepping into each other’s spaces. In ordinary times that would not never happen as we would have several excuses to justify why it is not possible. Your story reminds me of a friend’s story that is very similar. The time of necessity was Chennai floods and she had two more families in addition to her own, staying at her 1800 square feet apartment, with a total of 4 kids and all their paraphernalia. That meant a lot of adjustment and cooking of ample food, catering to different tastes and surprisingly she said, there were no family feuds! How nice!
