Political Correctness and Feminism is Making Us Weak
Throughout our lives, men have been told to “man up.” But then, as time passed, society has become more obsessed with ensuring that each person is treated as a delicate snowflake. Nowadays, every person should always be treated with utmost care and thoughtfulness as much as possible.
Calling out a person as “gay” whenever he does something lame is now one of the biggest insults we can say to a person. The gravity of this insult is now akin to mass genocide and utter hate. Apparently, saying this word is undeniable proof that a person is indeed homophobic even if the context of how the word was used had no trace of homophobia whatsoever.
There are still some men who aren’t comfortable with hanging out with other homosexual males. But, to be honest, is that fact still too hard to accept?
In a world that has Scientology as a legitimate religion alongside the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, is it too hard to believe that sometimes, we just need to agree to disagree with certain things?
Do we really have to throw a tantrum on Facebook and cry our souls out through paragraphs of ranting each time we get offended? While I do recognise the need for sensitivity and understanding especially in dire situations, is it now out of fashion to just candidly tell the person who hurt us to fuck off? Why do we have to make every unpleasant instance of our lives a public outcry for pity and an opportunity to play the victim? Have we now become too weak to deal with our problems on our own?
We’ve spent years and years fighting for equal treatment and making sure that men and women of all races are treated with respect. And while I do recognise the enormous improvement humanity has had in this regard, I believe we have now developed an unhealthy obsession with sensitivity. This obsession has made our skins too soft and has allowed our feelings and emotions bleed out of ourselves too easily.
I recognise that inequality still exists especially in developing countries around the world. However, I also believe that things have gotten significantly better in this regard. And, out of all these movements aimed at maintaining this culture of oversensitivity and political correctness, feminism is the one that irritates me the most.
I believe that feminism is a movement of overly sensitive individuals who still believe that women are being perpetually mistreated and abused by this mystical force called the “patriarchy”.
It began with a plea for women to have equal rights and opportunity as men. But as time passed, modern feminism has degraded into an angry and bitter man-hating movement of females (and some males) who would rather blame the patriarchy for all of their problems instead of putting in the necessary effort to achieve what they want in life.
To effectively dismantle the crux of this movement, I will address the common arguments feminists like to throw out whenever they feel the need to brag about their belief system like some Crossfit newbie.
First of all, the wage gap is a myth. Feminists like to throw out that if you take all the earnings of men and all the earnings of women, you’ll get a ratio of around 0.77:1 when it comes to the dollar amount both sexes get for doing the same amount of work. However, this crude statistic does not take into account the choices men and women make and how society values the outcome of these decisions.
Nowadays, due to our dependence on technology, society now values roles related to IT more than other industries. Hence, the reason why software developers typically get paid a higher salary than cafe baristas.
This is usually the point when feminists shove their hand in front of your face and remind you of the gender imbalance that exists within highly paid industries. And, they would tell you that this is all because of the patriarchy magically cock-blocking females from entering these industries because they have a vagina. However, a more reasonable argument would be the fact that most women simply aren’t interested in the same things that men typically like.
When it comes to the choices women make in choosing their profession, it turns out that they are less likely to pursue careers in science and technology as society becomes more equal. And, the reason for this supposed wage gap is the fact that society just doesn’t value these other pursuits as much.
“The bad news is that a short way down the road, 52% of this talent drops out. We are finding that attrition rates among women spike between 35 and 40 — what we call the fight-or-flight moment. Women vote with their feet; they get out of these sectors. Not only are they leaving technology and science companies, many are leaving the field altogether.”

Simply put, women aren’t being paid less for doing the same job as compared to men. Most women simply aren’t interested in pursuing careers that society places a higher monetary value on. They are also less willing to put in the same amount of work hours as men because of other commitments such as raising a family.
Many leaders believe there is a pay gap, but they also believe it’s explainable, mainly due to the career choices women make, such as taking breaks to have children or choosing a career that offers more flexibility.
There are a surprising number of people who still believe that the gender pay gap - the difference between men and…fortune.com
Also, what’s funny is that when it comes to the gender imbalance in more dirty, dangerous, and physically demanding male-dominated industries such as war, construction, and sanitation, we don’t see any complaints from these feminists at all. I guess it’s alright to have men work in conditions that can lead us to have twenty times more workplace deaths than women.
“They want to be equal in movies and parties. How about you’re equal in sanitation [jobs]? How about you have to go down into the sewers and remove rat kings from blocked pipes. How about you go to war and die?”

Secondly, this belief that both sexes can do all things as well as the other gender is wrong. It’s a fact that there are just some things that men can do better than women and vice versa.
Thirdly, this belief that women can look however they want and still receive the affection of the general male populace is rubbish.
While some men may like Rubenesque figures more than the unachievable beauty standards that society imposes upon us, most simply like the latter. In less flowery terms, some men like fat women, but most like thin women more.
Empowerment shouldn’t be confused with laziness. Except for the few who actually suffer from medical conditions that affect their physical well-being, looking thinner and healthier is simply a matter of watching what you eat and making time to go for a run. It’s not the patriarchy’s fault. You just need to stop being lazy and put in the necessary work.
The same goes for the “dad bod.” It’s not Leonardo DiCaprio’s “curvy” body that’s causing women to go mad for him. It’s what he has achieved throughout his career as a successful actor. I bet more women would go batshit crazy over him if he had abs instead.
To close, just a few more statistics to help paint a picture of what feminists should be looking at:
- Men are 97% of combat fatalities.
- Men pay 97% of Alimony.
- Men make up 94% of work suicides.
- Men make up 93% of work fatalities.
- Men make up 81% of all war deaths.
- Men lose custody in 84% of divorces.
- 80% of all suicides are men.
- 77% of homicide victims are men.
- 89% of men will be the victim of at least one violent crime.
- Men are over twice as victimized by strangers as women.
- Men are 165% more likely to be convicted than women.
- Men get 63% longer sentences than women for the same crime.
- Court bias against men is at least 6 times bigger than racial bias.
- Males are discriminated against in school and universities.
- Boys face vastly more corporal punishment than girls.
- 60–80% of the homeless are men.
- Women’s cancers receive 15 times more funding than men’s.
- At least 10% of fathers are victims of paternity fraud.
- One third of all fathers in the USA have lost custody of children; most are expected to pay for this.
So, by all means, go ahead and wank to your obession with feminism. I’ll stick with egalitarianism, thank you very much.
