Objectivity isn’t real

A police officer investigating a crime scene…

A politician making laws that affect everyone, most people didn’t vote…

An objective, rational perspective doesn’t exist. You unconsciously bring your bias, as baggage, from one task to another.

The only recourse then, is empathy. The ability to see the other side. Recognize it. Then move forward together. Because in the end, you’re not always right. In the end, you’re not going to build the best product or service for everyone.

You need others to make the change, that changes the world.
