What is your favourite food?
Dessert! I would have dessert before any meal.
What about your favourite wine?
A Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classe.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Having completed my Masters in Finance.
What makes you laugh the most?
A book by Jeremy Clarkson or a sketch by George Carlin.
What did you want to be when you were small?
I recall myself at the age of 7 or so, thinking that someday I would be an architect. I did master Lego at the time but I can’t be further away from being an architect these days!
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
My wife’s lasagna is to die for. I wouldn’t want to break my mum’s heart so I’ll have her lemon meringue for dessert.
Would you rather win the lottery or work at the perfect job? And why?
I wouldn’t appreciate winning the lottery. I would much rather earning a living and working the perfect job. Winning the lottery would just be a bonus.
What’s your favourite type of foreign food?
Nothing beats middle eastern food! I can never get enough eggplant mutabbal and slow cooked lamb…
What’s your favourite family tradition?
Gathering around the Christmas tree early in the morning on Christmas day. It reminds me of when we were young and couldn’t wait to open our presents.
What was your favourite subject in school?
Science
What’s the most unusual thing you’ve ever eaten?
Raw squid on some weird leaves topped with a sort of funky smelling cheese from a bar in Tokyo that specialised in cooking beef tongue. I don’t like squid, I don’t like beef-tongue, I couldn’t read the menu and it didn’t end well.
What was your first job?
I’ve always worked in the summers until I graduated but my first real paid job was prepping burgers at the back of a Burger King kitchen.
