This article doesn’t seem strictly related to the news media / social media at first sight, but it’s a known fact that the media likes to cover the future of English or humanities majors very ignorantly and dismissively. However, I like how this text mocks the cliché in an ironical (yet not cynical) way, and it certainly spoke to me without dragging me down (which most other articles on this topic tend to do). Very encouraging and well-written.
