Lessons I Learned from 10 Days of Silence and Meditation

Thank you for sharing this. I am in a similar place to where you were. I meditate using the Calm app many mornings. During the others I simply breathe more deeply than normal and count my breaths.

I know that I am only scratching the surface. I am starting to feel like immersing myself in a meditative experience like this will transform my life. I am making great progress but I am becoming more aware that my traditional thoughts and how I react to them are shackling me down.

I tend to be very impatient even though I know that doing good will yield good. It takes time. I can see the results all around me but still I yearn for more. I don’t want this in my life any longer. I want peace and awareness and I want to know the real me in a way that I don’t right now.

Thank you. You have helped me open my mind and spirit to new possibilities.
