Give time for bad performance, not for bad behavior.
Learning curves can be steep, learning can take time.
Whether it’s mastering a new skill or adapting to a challenging project, we as leaders should support and give our teams time and space to develop, learn, and excel.
However, when it comes to bad behaviors, our approach should be different.
Professionalism and respect are the bedrock of a healthy work environment.
Here, there’s no room for compromise. These standards are non-negotiable.
Even if it feels uncomfortable and sometimes painful, we, as leaders, should promptly address inappropriate behaviors to preserve a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace.
