Intentions or Resolutions?

With all the buzz around setting New Year’s Resolutions, I’m way more curious about something else.

(And no, it’s not if you’ve seen Star Wars yet…)

I’m interested in something more powerful and game-changing.

I want to know how you want to live and who you want to be. Not just what you want to do in the next year.

As we launch into 2016, I invite you to take a moment to get really clear on what you desire for the year ahead.

More peace?

Less stress?

Better relationships?

New adventures?

While you may have a list of New Year’s Resolutions similar to these, intention setting is very different. Your intentions are the mindful choices you make to think, act, and be a certain way. They are grounded in who you need to be in order to accomplish what you want to do.

Your intentions help you create a life that you’re proud to live by being the person you want to be.

Before you can make any headway on your list of resolutions and personal goals, you first need to be grounded in positive intentions that guide these related actions. Far too often, this becomes the afterthought or byproduct of a hurried and frazzled life, rather than the other way around.

Intentions are bigger than a list of resolutions because they amplify your core values when you exercise your natural strengths. As a result, you feel more energized, focused, engaged, and alive.

Imagine what it would be like if your life was full of positive motivation, ease, and flow.
