Today I learned

According to my friend at med school in Rhode Island, homeostasis ends at age thirty. That’s when our bodies stop being able to clean up shop after every messy biochemical reaction that happens inside us.

My take-away: we have up until we’re thirty to build our ship. Try to make it as sturdy and well-stocked as possible. Then set sail.

Let’s see how long this vessel lasts.
