Teachers can share their favorite experiences with others in the Phenomena community using our special “Like” button just for teachers.

The like button has become a fixture in our culture. Heck, my kids think “like and subscribe” is another way of saying “Goodbye.” And while it’s great to have the ability to share and receive opinions so easily, sometimes it’s important to know that the person hitting the like button understands your needs and challenges.

Teachers can give their stamp of approval to Phenomean experiences using the apple icon.

When I was teaching, a colleague’s recommendation was the highest rating a lesson could receive. Those were the first lessons I’d try with my students because I knew they would be impactful and successful. And as a parent, I’m definitely going to try a resource my child’s teacher recommends before looking for my own solution. We wanted to help teachers and parents easily recognize those Phenomena experiences that have been similarly test driven and recommended by educators.

That’s why we’ve created a special like button for Phenomena experiences that’s just for teachers. At the bottom of every Phenomena experience, you’ll see the familiar like button that students and others can use to let the community know they enjoyed the experience. Just to the right you’ll see another icon — an apple — that is only available to teachers. Teachers logged in to their free Phenomena account can click the apple to let each other know that the experience was helpful or engaging for their students.

If you’re a teacher, we hope you’ll take a moment to add an apple to your favorite Phenomena experiences to help us learn which experiences are hitting the mark for you and your students.

As always, we love feedback on our features and experiences, so let us know what you think at people@phenomenalearning.com.
