New Ford Focus RS

It has been confirmed! The news that most of us have been waiting for! The Ford RS is coming! We are expecting a 2016 launch date but this has not been confirmed as of yet.

We love the look of this car but everyone wants to know how it will drive and what it packs in terms of the engine. With some re search we found that it is likely to be a front wheel drive and will get its power from the four-cylinder, turbocharged 2.3 litre, Ecoboost engine which you may recognise from the recently released Mustang. So with all this power how will it be possible for the Focus RS to handle? Well a six speed manual gearbox will come as standard which will help the Focus RS obtain its hefty power. Bearing in mind that the the current ST runs with a Turbocharged 2.0 Litre, Four cylinder and packs 250bhp. The powertrain details have not been released yet for the new RS and this is to be expected as it is so soon. But as far as the ST goes we can expect a lot from the new RS.

The new Focus RS really does look promising, we cant wait to find out more about it. It really is a fantastic sounding, great looking car and will certainly turn heads and is definitely creating conversation.
