Tokenizing Real Estate Assets Using Leaxcoin

As we move along towards the year 2020, Leaxcoin has been continuously developing the platform that can be able to provide a solution for all the real estate industry issues. And last May 2019, we were to present during The Malta AI and Blockchain Summit our project, or shall we say our completed ecosystem that aims towards the tokenization of the real estate sector.

Tokenization is the process of representing a fractional ownership interest in an asset (utility asset or security asset) with a blockchain-based token. Tokens or Leaxcoin Tokens can represent ownership in the underlying asset, equity in a legal structure that owns the asset, an interest in debt secured by the real estate, a stream of income based on cash flows from the asset, and the list goes on. Thru this, we are now ready to provide the real estate industry and our investors or partners the moment that they all been waiting for — and that is the disruption of property management and investments.

Why would an investor or a real estate owner/manager decide to tokenize or get leaxcoin?

  • This isn’t real estate specific, necessarily; it applies to all illiquid assets.
  • Tokenization created liquidity: the investment pool for tokens is truly global (anyone that meets capital requirements and has an internet connection can invest).
  • Lower investor barriers: The barriers to investor entry will likely be lowered as real estate assets become more liquid.
  • Programmable securities: Leax tokens can be allocated/managed through smart contracts that would automatically enact important processes, e.g. automated dividend payout through smart contracts, which would reduce costs. Even if some manual work was required, it would be less relative to not having smart contracts involved.
  • Security and immutability — cryptographic encryption protect these assets, and blockchains tracking the tokens are append-only, meaning everything that has happened in the past is public to anyone who might want to look, and that includes the regulators.

Tokenization represents an incredible opportunity to both real estate owners/managers for many reasons, including earlier access to capital and a broader investor group. This process also allows investors more liquid opportunities and the potential to become newly accredited.

And currently, we are now looking for investors, talking to real estate owners and businesses that are into cryptocurrency and blockchain. We are now currently having partnerships and communications with relevant organizations who would want to become part of this revolution.

And as we move along, we can assure you that there more things that will happen along the way. And we can assure you that Leaxcoin is not dead, as we continue to provide and develop more innovations that can be able to help and assist people as they make that purchase or rent on a real estate asset.
