Yeah, we know about that. :D American science policy is pretty important to the rest of the world, whether it’s creationism or climate change denial. 
Our country is basically ruled by a party that is Ted Cruz-ish in general(but often even more loony), except they also support a minimal welfare state (pretty hard not to if you want to win an election in a developing country)
