In July, we made significant progress in improving the Legend of Arcadia gaming experience. Here’s what we’ve accomplished so far.

⭐ Technical Upgrade

1. Marketplace upgrade

Smart contract deployment and function implementation in the marketplace on SUI blockchain, including “Burn Hero for Energy”, “Hero Upgrade to change the appearance of Heroes”, “Hero Upgrade to improve the attributes of Heroes”, “Arca Transfer from wallet to in-game” and “NFT trading function”.

⭐ Gaming Feature Upgrade

1. Reset categorisation of Secret Caves

We have reset the categorisation of Secret Caves in the mining gameplay. This update makes it easier for players to dispatch heroes and view their earnings.

2. Unique Hero Acquisition in Cashapon

We have added a unique hero acquisition feature in Cashapon’s storyline guide. This feature will help players to acquire new heroes and enhance their gameplay experience.

3. Optimized Battle Display in Toy Brawl

We have optimized the battle display effects in Toy Brawl to increase the overall gaming experience. Players can now enjoy the game with better visual effects during battles.

4. Improved Lottery Rules Display and Redesigned Prizes

We have optimized the rules display for the lottery and adjusted the prizes to increase the overall viewing experience. Players can now enjoy the game with better visuals and a chance to win exciting prizes.

⭐ Trouble-shooting

1. Fixed a bug where the client and server combat calculations were inconsistent.
2. Fixed a bug that PVE combat video played abnormally.
3. Fixed a bug that the unconsciousness effect does not work under certain circumstances.
4. Fixed a bug that the displacement towards the centre of the scene does not work.
5. Fixed a bug that the collision effect check is inconsistent in some cases.
6. Fixed a bug that some buff types affect the immunity effect.

⭐ Awarded in Sui x KuCoin Labs Summer Hackathon ⭐

We are thrilled to announce that Legend of Arcadia has been awarded the Bronze prize for the Gaming and AIGC track in the Sui x KuCoin Labs Summer Hackathon. We were recognized for our innovative features such as randomized NFT heroes with trillions of combinations and our Prediction event for the community, which takes tactics from the traditional gaming industry to boost community engagement. Our redesigned real-time card-based strategy game, distinct from traditional turn-based strategy games, was also praised.

Additionally, LOA has demonstrated strong traction based on key operational metrics: Efficiently launched 4 rounds of alpha tests within only 6 months, which has attracted significant interest, and won positive feedback from players.

We are grateful for the support and recognition we have received from both the hackathon judges and our community. Going forward, we’ll focus on adding new gameplay features to provide an increasingly immersive experience for players and utilizing the Sui blockchain to create innovative community governance events.

By balancing innovation and community participation, we aim to build a gaming experience on Sui that brings people together in an enjoyable and meaningful way.

⭐ Partnership with Mysten Labs ⭐

We are excited to announce that Mugen Interactive, the blockchain gaming studio behind Legend of Arcadia (LOA), has partnered with Mysten Labs to launch the first GameFi prediction protocol on the Sui network.

The partnership with Mysten Labs, a web3 infrastructure company and initial contributor to Sui, has been instrumental in Mugen Interactive’s mission to revolutionize the current blockchain gaming industry with GameFi 2.0, focusing on content and social elements. The partnership is ushering in the next wave of GameFi 2.0 and the content-first, social-first Web3 gaming concept.

⭐ Alpha Test 4.0 and Squadopoly Event ⭐

In July, Legend of Arcadia (LOA) introduced LOA Alpha Test 4.0 and LOA Community Governance Proposal 3: Squadopoly.

LOA Alpha Test 4.0 took place from July 17th to July 31st. It featured new gameplay elements such as Toy Brawl and Lottery, inviting community members to compete in Arena battles, World Boss events, and win the lottery to accumulate more $ARCA in the game and claim generous rewards.

Simultaneously, Legend of Arcadia was launching LOA Community Governance Proposal 3: Squadopoly during Alpha Test 4.0. This event was divided into two parts: Squad Voting (14–20 July) and $ARCA Frenzy Prediction (23–27 July).

During the Squad Voting Event, LOA community members can use their LOA Witness Pass to support their favorite squad. An astounding 1,473 Arcadians cast their votes, resulting in over 5,847 votes total. Details of top 20 squads who earned the Squad Kick-Off Reward have also been shown below. During the $ARCA Frenzy Prediction Event, members can use their LOA Witness Pass to predict the squad with the highest final amount of $ARCA each day.

⭐ LOA NFT Crossover Event⭐

During the 4-day LOA NFT Crossover voting event, 16 NFT communities registered to participate. 3,502 community members from 42 communities, including Gameta, Seraph, and MEEET, minted over 17,509 LOA Witness Passes and cast 12,250 votes for their favorite projects.

🏆 Top Three NFT Communities are Cheers Ups (3,269 votes), ZEN禅 (2,945 votes) and The Broker List (2,819 votes);

💎 Details of Winning Addresses and Prize Distribution have also been shown above, including the specific prize pool size, number of winning addresses, and winning entry quantities for voters who voted for the top three NFT communities.
