I Don’t Feel it Anymore
I don’t feel it anymore,
They way I did when we were young
And we would run and seem to soar.
Adventure was all that we craved.
Riding bikes and jumping off cliffs,
Giving up, to try the next day.
And somehow it has come to this:
I do not feel it anymore,
Although I cherished every kiss.

This is a blackout poem I crafted from the poem above. It contrasts the way some people constantly live in apathy, while others live cherishing each day as it comes. It is fine to crave what tomorrow holds, but do not forget to cherish today.
