A Big day for me as a dad and some sports.
Today is a big day. My youngest is about to graduate from Kindergarten. I am stoked to get to see him give his little speech and say what he wants to be when he grows up, which is a ninja spy at this point in his life. I think that if you want to be a spy the best kind to be is the ninja type, so I am super proud of him for that. After school today the school bus is going to drop off anywhere from 30–60 kids that will be swimming and eating pizza at my house. To say I am terrified is an understatement.
All of this is followed up by my daughters 12th birthday party tomorrow. She is dead set on her dad taking her and all of her friends to go see Baywatch. My kid is very mature for her age and can handle that kind of humor. But, I am super concerned that the parents that gave us permission did so without doing their own homework and are going to upset their kid are seeing it. Oh well, can’t be everyone’s parent.
Finally, victemsManchester United will donate one million euros to the victims’ fund to help victims and their families of the tragic bombing at the Ariana Grande concert. That is another reason why I love sports.
Lastly, some sports. Kevin Durant is the betting favorite over Steph Curry to be finals MVP. That will change of course once the Cavs are officially in the finals. Lebron will overtake them in the money bet on him and drive Durant to the number two spot quickly.
