Stanley Cup, French Open, and the Dbacks

My pick to win the Stanley Cup Pittsburgh Penguins dominated game five last night. A 6–0 blowout that had the three Pittsburgh stars Crosby, Kessel and Malkin account for eight points and goaltender Matt Murray got the shutout.

My favorite moment from the game is when Crosby was tangled up on the ground and was punching Subban’s head into the ice while looking at the ref telling him he was holding him down. Both players ended up getting minor penalties on the play.

This game also included an eight-man scuffle at the end of the game that was fun to watch also.

Andy Murray is up two sets to one this morning as his match against Swiss man Wawrinka. The match is in the fourth and is currently tied 2–2. Nadal and Thiem are the second semi-finals that are set to start in just a few moments. The Nadal vs. Murry Final would bring some intrigue into the final at the French open.

Lastly, I have to give a shoutout to the Diamondbacks for playing great so far this season. They are now 24–8 at home this season which is the best home record start in the history of the franchise. Being 16 games above .500 at home in June is a very nice accomplishment.

We will see if the Diamondbacks can keep this going and somehow find some separation from either the Dodgers or the Rockies as they fight for a chance at the playoffs.
