HEARTS AND SCISSORS

Maiko:

“A lit candle in the dark,

Flickering in the winds.

I kept hoping for the wind to calm,

But off you blew it.

Uh, my warm heart.

Cutting through the arteries of our friendship,

…were the scissors of your selfishness.”

Jofu:

“Yes, Betrayal was a bitter fruit,

Its garden, cautious to plant,

Now the scissors have turned on me,

Cutting through our happy memories.

Forgive yourself,

as much as you can,

Our minds can be a little hard on ourselves at times…

forgive yourself for trusting me

Us:

“Our friendship is a fallen apple, rolling from the garden.

Reality has set in, … the ‘Hearts and Scissors’ of it all.

I’m not strong enough to face it!

Good ‘mourning’.

I’m turning.
