What It’s Like When Your Date Has Everything You’re Looking For. And More.

I asked myself this same question when my OKCupid date neglected to tell me he had residual brain damage from a terrible car accident before we went on our first date. We had only been communicating through text messages (lesson learned) and so never heard his speech impediment. He seemed like a decent kind of guy, but our whole 1st date trying to decide if I wanted to see him again or if I felt obligated to see him again just so I wouldn’t seem shallow. Ironically, he texted me a few days later to say he didn’t think we would make a very good match! Although I was both grateful for being off the hook I was also insulted that I had been rejected by a guy with brain damage. It’s rough out there.
