💯 SONG OF THE WEEK: “Lost Youth / Lost You” by How To Dress Well

Don’t let the name fool you, this isn’t some well-dressed dandy offering tips on sartorial elegance. This is some seriously sensual, sexy and downright dreamy R&B that would even make The Weeknd go weak at the knees. Lost Youth is taken from Tom Krell’s upcoming 4th album, Care, which is out 23 September and follows up 2014’s stunning “What Is This Heart?”.

The Spoils (feat. Hope Sandoval)
by Massive Attack

Massive Attack’s creative juices are clearly in full flow: The Spoils, which features Hope Sandoval from Mazzy Star, is the first of 2 new singles this week and comes hot on the heels of their Ritual Spirit EP. And they’re not done yet either (see below).

Real Love Baby
by Father John Misty

FJM released one of the best albums of 2015 (I Love You, Honeybear) so we couldn’t be more excited to have him back again so soon. No word yet on album #3, but fingers crossed this new single means it’s gonna be with us sometime in 2016!

by Nice As Fuck

It took them 3 years, but it looks like Bastille are finally ready to follow up their extremely popular debut album, Bad Blood. Wild World will be out in September and also feature the lead single, Good Grief.

by Glass Animals

Youth is the latest track to surface from Glass Animals’ upcoming 2nd album, How To Be A Human Being, which is out August 26 and follows up 2014’s Zaba. IYCMI, here’s the lead single: Life Itself.

Conceptual Romance
by Jenny Hval

If the first two singles are anything to go by (this gem & Female Vampire), Jenny’s upcoming 6th album will be very special indeed. Her follow up to Apocalypse, Girl is out September 30th, and we can’t wait!

Dang! (feat. Anderson .Paak)
by Mac Miller

It must be at least a few weeks since we featured Anderson .Paak, so it’s great to have another opportunity to tell you all to go and listen to one of the best albums of the year, Malibu. Thanks, Mac.

Come Near Me (feat. Ghostpoet)
by Massive Attack

The 2nd new Massive Attack single this week features multiple Mercury Prize nominee Ghostpoet & comes with a fancy new video too. Oh yeah, our tease from above… album #6 is coming (very) soon 🙌.

In what has to be one of the most unexpected collaborations in years, Paul Banks from Interpol and RZA from Wu-Tang Clan are making an album together. If you like the sound of this, be sure to check out Giant and Love & War too.
