Great article, i think you are on point. However, the jobs that we will loss is not necessarily something that we will “loss” they will transition into something else. Taxi drives, might become fleet managers, Bus drivers might become concierges and actually help people navigate. Its a transition and not a job loss that we are looking at. Autonomous cars will not happen over night. if we see they first cars rolling out around 2020 it will for sure not be 17 million cars in the US that are autonomous. We shouldn't be scared of change, it is evolution of the industry. I think you failed to mention one of the most progressive brands working on AI technology which is Volvo, they have come out and said that they will be responsible for any accident that happens during autonomous driving…. That is a pretty confident statement.
