A full guide on how to get started with MetaMask browser extension on the Wanchain Network
Note: This guide goes over how to install the MetaMask browser extension for Google Chrome web brower, the process is very similar for other browsers such as Brave or FireFox.

First off, head over to metamask.io and click “Download now”.
Click “Install MetaMask for Chrome”, a new tab will open up.
Click “Add to Chrome”. If you are new to MetaMask, watch the overview video.
On the pop-up, click “Add extension”.
The MetaMask extension will now be installed. Click the small puzzle piece on the top right-hand corner, then click the pin button to pin the MetaMask extension for easy access. Click “Get Started” to continue.
Click “Create a Wallet” to set up a new wallet.
Read through the prompt and click “I Agree” or “No Thanks” if you don’t want to allow MetaMask to gather usage data.
Create a strong password, then re-enter it to confirm. Click the small check box after you have read the Terms of Use, then click “Create”.
IMPORTANT: Familiarize yourself with your Secret Recovery Phrase. Watch the video and read the text. Click “Next” to continue.
Next, you’ll need to back up your Secret Recovery Phrase. Read the tips and warning. Write down the 12 words on at least three separate pieces of paper and store them somewhere secure. Click “Next” to continue.
More tips: Do not store these words digitally, do not use a password manager, do not download them and save them on a text document. Engrave these words on a piece of metal and store it somewhere safe.
Remember to NEVER share your Secret Recovery Phrase with anyone, if you do, they can steal all your funds.
Re-enter your Secret Recovery Phrase words in the same order they appeared in the last step. Click “Confirm” to continue.
Click “All Done” to finish setting up your wallet.
Your MetaMask browser extension is now all set up and ready to go! By default, it will be on the Ethereum network.
Connecting MetaMask to Wanchain Network
Next up, you’ll need to connect your MetaMask to the Wanchain Network.
If you wish to manually add the Wanchain Network:
Network Name: Wanchain
New RPC URL: https://gwan-ssl.wandevs.org:56891
Chain ID: 888
Currency Symbol: WAN
Block Explorer URL: https://www.wanscan.org
Otherwise, follow the guide below.
Head over to chainlist.org and search for “Wanchain”. On the first box, click “Connect Wallet”.
On the MetaMask pop-up, click “Next”.
On the next pop-up, click “Connect”.
Go back to the first box and click “Add to Metamask”.
On the MetaMask pop-up, click “Approve”.
On the second pop-up, click “Switch network” to switch to the Wanchain Network.
Congratulations! You have now successfully setup MetaMask on Wanchain Network. Now all that’s left is to fund your address with some WAN. Buy WAN on any of these markets and deposit them on your newly created MetaMask address.
You can now use all your favorite Wanchain DApps, such as ZooKeeper and Wanswap, using MetaMask on Wanchain Network!
