A full guide on how to get started with MetaMask Mobile on the Wanchain Network
Note: This guide goes over how to install the MetaMask Mobile extension for iPhone, the process is almost identical for other mobile devices.
First off, head over to metamask.io and press “Download now”, this will open up the App Store on your Device showing the MetaMask Mobile app. This will ensure you download the correct app. Press “GET” to start the app download.
Once downloaded and installed, launch the MetaMask app and follow the on-screen prompts.
Create a strong password, confirm it, tick the box, then press “Create password” and follow the rest of the on-screen prompts.
IMPORTANT: Familiarize yourself with your Secret Recovery Phrase. Watch the video and read the text. Click “Start” to continue.
Next, you’ll need to back up your Secret Recovery Phrase. Write down the 12 words on at least three separate pieces of paper and store them somewhere secure. Press “Continue”.
More tips: Do not store these words digitally, do not use a password manager, do not download them and save them on a text document. Engrave these words on a peice of metal and store it somewhere safe.
Remember to NEVER share your Secret Recovery Phrase with anyone, if you do, they can steal all your funds.
Re-enter your Secret Recovery Phrase words in the same order they appeared, then press “Complete Backup” and then “Done” to finish setting up your wallet.
Your MetaMask mobile app is now all set up and ready to go! By default, it will be on the Ethereum network. Press the icon in the top left corner.
Connecting MetaMask to Wanchain Network
Next up, you’ll need to connect your MetaMask to the Wanchain Network.
If you wish to manually add the Wanchain Network:

Chain ID: 888
Currency Symbol: WAN
Block Explorer URL: https://www.wanscan.org
Otherwise, follow the guide below.
Press on “Browser”, then head to chainlist.org and search for “Wanchain”, then press “Connect Wallet”.
Press on “Connect”, then “Add To Metamask”, then “Approve”, and finally press “Switch Network”.
Congratulations! You have now successfully set up MetaMask Mobile on Wanchain Network. Now all that’s left is to fund your address with some WAN. Buy WAN on any of these markets and deposit them on your newly created MetaMask address.
You can now use all your favorite Wanchain DApps through the MetaMask Mobile browser, such as ZooKeeper and Wanswap.
