A written guide on how to use WalletConnect for DApps on Wanchain such as ZooKeeper or WanSwap.
What is WalletConnect?
WalletConnect is a convenient open-source tool that enables you to easily connect your supported mobile wallet to DeFi DApps and interact with them from your mobile phone without having to expose your private keys/seed words.
WalletConnect gives you one-tap access to the vast world of DeFi platforms and web-based DApps, provided they have integrated WalletConnect support.
This guide goes over how to use WalletConnect for MetaMask Mobile. The process is very similar for all supported mobile wallets.

Using WalletConnect with MetaMask Mobile
First off, open your browser and head to the website of the DApp that you want to connect to. In this guide, we will be connecting to ZooKeeper.
Click the “CONNECT WALLET” button on the top left corner.
Next, click on “WalletConnect”.
A QR code will pop up. You will need to scan this with your mobile wallet.
On your mobile wallet, find the button to open up your camera to scan the QR code, this will connect your wallet. In this example we are using MetaMask Mobile.
Once scanned, you will notice your mobile wallet address is now connected to the web-based DApp. The process is similar with WanSwap or any other web-based Wanchain DApps, provided they support WalletConnect.
When doing any transactions from the web-based DApp, you will need to confirm approve/confirm the transaction from your mobile wallet. Remember you will need some WAN for gas!
