Increasing and expanding incubators and accelerators

Incubators and accelerators help innovative startups by providing the mentorship, resources, funding, networks and the knowledge necessary to rapidly transform their ideas into globally competitive businesses.

By providing an additional $15 million to expand the Incubator Support Programme, we’ll ensure that more innovative businesses, particularly in regional and rural areas, are able to access the resources and networks needed to grow.

Attracting new investment

Innovation is one thing, but attracting investors to support your idea is another.

More funding to incubators and accelerators means more access to potential investors. But to encourage even more investment in innovative startups, the Government has made it easier to access crowd-sourced funding and created tax incentives for investors who want to support entrepreneurs.

By opening up new funding sources, the Government is making it easier than ever before for ideas to make it to market and grow into successful Australian businesses.
