In Never Never Land

Once upon a moon
There lived a girl
Just outside the Mother City

Her family taught her that she was royalty
Although she preferred to climb trees and walk barefoot
Play outside
Walk on mountains
Play in the woods
Climb the tree branches
Caress the ocean

She was an Earth child
One with nature
Her favorite house was the
Family Robinson treehouse
Fairies dancing around
Unicorns in the garden
Fireflies create snippets of sunshine at night

She found her true love
One who shared her dream
Of creating a better
More beautiful
Humanity

They used their powers for good
And so mankind blossomed
Kindness shining out of the hearts
Of all humans on Earth
And in space

Her family kept on thinking:

Why is she doing this to us?
Why does she not want to live comfortably?

The realization never hit
That she wasn’t doing anything “to them”
Nor trying to go against their will
She was merely trying to live
Everyday
Truer and closer
To who she really was

And she lived happily ever after
Playing with animals
And reaching for the stars

The wonderful end.
