We’re thrilled to unveil our 2023 roadmap for Life Beyond, and let you in on all the amazing developments we have in store. Think of this roadmap as a treasure map — it’ll guide you through the exciting new features and updates we’ll be rolling out throughout the year. But beware, there may be a few hidden treasures we’re keeping under wraps for now…

Our goal with this roadmap is to work hand-in-hand with our community to create the ultimate gaming experience. We want to build this game with you, and for you.

And while the three pillars of Pioneering, Settling, and Governance will always be at the core of the game, this year we’re putting extra emphasis on Settling. Imagine building your own little slice of paradise on a never-before-seen world. Trust us, it’s going to be out of this world.

We’ve taken your feedback from our open alpha 1 and used it to shape this roadmap.

2023 is here, and the bear market can step aside, because we’ve got big plans. Persistent hub

Remember the After Party? The violent attack in October, at the end of our Open Alpha?

Looks like the agents have managed to make a daring escape from the destruction of the Base of Operations at the hands of those pesky ransackers. But don’t worry, they’ve got a new mission planned!

Get ready to be recruited as a volunteer from Earth and put your skills to the test as you adapt to the hostile environment of the planet Dolos. Piloting your very own hologram avatar, you’ll be able to take on simulations and prove your worthiness to join the “Life Beyond mission”.

Our Hub will be your go-to destination for all things coming this year. It’ll be live 24/7 starting Q1 and will allow you to interact and connect with other players and characters in the game.

The first version will be simple, with just the basics like chat functions, but we’ll be adding simulation modules regularly as the year goes on, the hub will be evolutive as the year is passing, according to your wishes and feedback.

Get ready to be a part of the action and shape the future of our MMORPG with our community-driven, evolutive simulators! These simulators give you exclusive access to our latest development iterations and Work in Progress features, allowing you to actively participate and provide valuable feedback in the creation of an epic gaming experience.

Think you have what it takes to survive on Dolos? Prove it by mastering the simulations of crafting, economic management, combat, agriculture, and even robot exploration.

We will gather your impressions for each prototype module released! We want to know if the gameplay is exciting, if the UI is pleasing, and if the missions are challenging enough to keep you entertained.

We want you to be part of the experience-building process as we work hand-in-hand to create the best experience possible and a game that reaches your expectations. You’ll feel like a valued member of our team in this hub, and your input will be instrumental in shaping the game’s evolution, new features, and additions. Avatar Creation Tool

Hold on to your seats, folks! We’ve got some big news when it comes to our avatars. We’ve been listening closely to your feedback, and we hear you loud and clear — you want something that sets you apart from the rest of the crowd. We totally get it, and that’s why we’re making some changes to our art direction to give you the unique and customizable avatars you deserve.

We’re moving away from the Battle Royale look and feel, and instead, we’re working on something that is much more realistic. We’re excited to see how this change will enhance your gaming experience and make your characters truly your own.

We’ll keep you updated as we have more information on the project, and rest assured, we’ll be involving our Founders every step of the way to make sure we’re offering you avatars that will blow your mind!

Combat Training

Gather your weapons and sharpen your skills, because there’s going to be plenty of action in the Life Beyond project! Those of you who participated in our Open Alpha last year got a taste of our gameplay, and we’re thrilled to say that your feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Our team is working hard to make sure that the combat in our game is top-notch.

We don’t want to give away too much just yet, but we can tell you that we’ve got some exciting new enemies and challenges in store for you in the unexplored territories of Dolos. To get you prepared, we’ll be adding several solo player gyms and multiplayer co-op gyms to the Hub, so you can hone your skills and get ready for battle.

We can’t wait for you to experience the thrill of combat in our game and look forward to seeing you on the battlefield!

Agriculture simulation

Are you ready to get your hands dirty?

Agriculture is clearly one of the features on which we receive the most questions, and we appreciate your enthusiasm!

Our first prototype will focus on the core agriculture gameplay, giving you a taste of the hard work and dedication it takes to run a successful farm. Don’t let the lack of fancy graphics of the prototype fool you, it’s packed with challenges and strategic decisions.

You’ll need to master the art of managing cooldowns, deciding when to plant, when to water, and when to harvest, among other things. Our fast prototype may be visually “simple” at first, but it’s a fun and engaging way to experience the joys and challenges of farming. We are expecting a lot of feedback from you guys to help us to orient the experience according to your expectations!

Exploration app

Get ready to embark on an adventure with our upcoming NFT collection, the petbots!

These unique PFP robots will have cool designs and several functions, including map exploration. Not only will they help you scout out new areas, but they’ll also be our first staking mechanism. As your little iron companions explore, they’ll report valuable information and resources back to you.

We’ll have different types of exploration missions available, with varying success rates and rewards depending on the difficulty and strength of your robot. But even if you don’t have your own petbot, don’t worry. The world of Dolos is filled with different organizations (like DEEP, GFE, and Milinda) that you can join and go on explorations with, each offering their own rewards. So get ready to discover new lands and reap the rewards with your trusty petbot by your side.

Building simulation

The Life Beyond project is all about creating a new digital society where players have complete freedom to build whatever they want on conquered territories. And what’s more exciting than building your own villa, palace, or anything else you can imagine?

For those who have been following us for a while and participated in our early playtests, you’ve already seen our first iteration of construction gameplay. We’re still in the early stages of development, but our goal is to provide an original experience that’s both approachable and rich. Persistence and engineering will be the main pillars for the first release, so you can build a structure that won’t collapse on itself.

The building system is one of the most exciting parts of the game for us, and we have high expectations for it. We’ll be releasing all of our iterations for testing to ensure they’re fun and functional. So imagine creating a skyscraper that reaches the clouds, or a castle fit for a king (or queen). The possibilities are endless and we can’t wait for you to start building.

We have purposefully not specified a release date for these features to avoid disappointment if we face delays. However, we are committed to releasing all of these items and more this year, with a focus on creating a high-quality and fun gaming experience.

The Hub will be available in its initial version in Q1, and the rest will be released as soon as they meet our high standards.
