I really appreciate this post.

Not until I’d started a direct sales business in 2011 was I exposed to making “accountability statements” aloud.

To me, it always felt like a way to guilt people into doing what you want them to do—stand in front of a group of people all fighting for the same end-goal and tell everyone WHEN you’re going to complete that goal.

If it was too distant, you’d get the “Oh, come on! You can do it in half the time” response.

Crafting quitters, negativity, self-doubt, and procrastinators.

I needed to read this today.
