Lifeline RIGID Hospitals Occupational Health Services’ multidisciplinary team is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of occupational injury and disease; and meeting the needs of businesses and workers by helping reduce or prevent illness and injury in the workplace.

Our Occupational Health Services are as follows:


1) Providing Primary Care to employees
Having access to on-site care will help your employees to offset and overcome many of the health and wellness challenges. Easy access to Doctors and Medical care avoid absenteeism and improve presenteeism, as well as reduce time away from work. A primary care health center integrates with your existing health programs to mitigate the occurrence and progression of chronic conditions for our employees, leading to a healthier overall workforce and reduced overall healthcare costs

2) Referrals
a) Advice on individuals referred by department heads, departmental administrators, or personnel officers, and provision of a written medical report.
b) Assessments of individuals in their workplace in order to advise on modifications relevant to their medical condition
c) Self-referral service for work-related health problems and provision of a written medical report to the department (subject to informed consent) as required

3) Interventions and treatment
Immunisations administration appropriate for certain groups

4) Incidents and outbreaks
a) Assisting in the response to dangerous incidents/hazardous exposures
b) Investigation of suspected clusters of work-related ill-health

5) Work place Medical Emergency Management
Providing First Aid Management in Medical Emergencies and transferring the patients immediately to Emergency Care in the nearby Hospital approved by the Corporate

6) Statutory reporting
Initiating the statutory reporting process of certain occupational diseases. Making any necessary statutory reports of communicable disease to the relevant public health authorities.

7) Internal audit
Monitoring compliance with relevant regulations concerning the professional competence of clinical OHS staff. Management of all staff development, personnel, financial and premises matters related to the OHS.

8) Communication
Our in-house communications team supports all functions of communicating a health or benefits program successfully – strategy, design, and content. Our team will customize your communications to fit each audience.
