I understand your pain, frustration, and your desire to address these social issues to create a more safer , fair, pain free society. But the only way we CAN address these issues is attacking them head on. You must acknowledge that people need to LEARN about the experiences they have not had themselves. I myself have never, for example, been stabbed with a knife, and the only way I could possibly understand such fiery pain is trying to listen to people who HAVE had such unfortunate circumstances occur to them personally. I would never pretend to understand what fear goes through someones mind as they walk across a street and have two men of the opposite gender follow them. But I can use my voice to carry along their message, and understand their message, so the world may hear them. Will some never listen? Most likely, but this arises in almost every issue. We must create change together. And that is what ill seek to do with my voice. I know you will do the same.
