Without proper language , not only do we feel broken as a person, we feel rejected by society. We panic and seek out the most absurd mechanisms to fix what can’t be fixed. Language means EVERYTHING in a society that primarily communicates through such words. The worse part? Instead of learning how to live as ourselves, and learn what makes US happy and what WE want , we simply try to force ourselves to conform to something we genetically can not . In time, this will be fixed . But it will take powering through all the absurd remarks that our identifier is us simply trying to be “ a special little snowflake”. But such a fight is necessary to ensure no future asexual has to suffer through societal stigma. I’m willing to fight for them, and we WILL win.
