THE TRANSFORMERS: Dawn of a new season.

It is often said money can’t buy you happiness, but it sure can buy you some things to make you happy. Doubt it? Try buying yourself a PS4 and a FIFA 18 CD after you’ve longed to own one; for the ladies, get that shoe you have always admired through the glass window of a shop.
Teams are spending to get players to their teams and revamp their squad. Some other teams are also selling to make money. [It is like shopping on Black Friday, but €222m is certainly not a price you get on a black Friday.]
Just like the fight for the Allspark between the Decepticons and Autobots, teams are battling for the titles and they need the very best players to enable them achieve that.
With the likes of Man United, Man City, Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan (whom are making it rain in this transfer summer) and others, a return to glory days or claiming titles are on the agenda.

With Man United, Jose Mourinho is in his second season and looks to challenge for the EPL title and a good Champions League run. He has already signed 3 players, including big money signing, Romelu Lukaku, and has confidence in the squad after a very good pre-season tour. But losing on Tuesday to Real Madrid in the Super Cup could prompt him to get one more player before the transfer window ends on 31st August.

On the blue side of Manchester, City boss, Pep Guardiola, has spent a lot in acquiring some new recruits since he took over last season. With this season, he has acquired 5 players while letting go of 9 senior players, including the bright young striker, Kelechi Iheancho. Guardiola is still looking to make a few additions to the team as he is on the quest to win a silverware for the first time since entering England.

Ronald Koeman at the Everton has done quite some good business signing 8 players which includes the old boy, Wayne Rooney, returning to the club where he started his professional career at. Koeman has made some good return in cash on the purchase of Romelu Lukaku for £75M. He is still keen on acquiring Gylfi Sigurdsson as a replacement for Ross Barkley, whom he has told will not be needed in the coming season.

In Italy, AC Milan are looking to get back to the glory days. They have signed 11 players this transfer window and are hoping to add one more signing. Since the new owners took over, they haven’t been afraid to splash the cash. Montella will be hoping to have a better run with the team in the Serie A as they look to challenge Juventus for the Scudetto this time around. They are considered favourites for the Uefa Europa League title this season.
To the man who has changed the figures of transfer fees, mostly has controversy around his transfers (from Santos to Barcelona and from Barcelona to PSG), that is Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior. The Brazilian superstar completed his move from Barcelona to PSG for €222m in what seems like a betrayal to the Barca faithfuls and a great move for PSG. He becomes the 2nd highest paid (€30M) in the world behind Tevez (€38M).

The others like Real Madrid have allowed players to leave [Morata for £70M to Chelsea and James Rodriguez on loan with an option to buy by Bayern Munich]. They have made some quiet buys, but are looking to have the media talking with efforts to sign Kylian Mbappe.
English champions, Chelsea, have signed Morata, Bakayoko and Rüdiger to add to their squad. Liverpool also secured the services of Salah and are still in the chase for Virgil Van Dijk and Keita. But they have a huge fight as Barça have expressed interest in signing Coutinho for a huge fee of around £120M.
