Great article, Raghav Haran. It’s been awhile since we last spoke, so I hope you are doing well. I see you’ve been writing more and this piece, especially, caught my eyes. My girlfriend, a graduating senior communication major, just told me she wants to work at Google and continued to suggest she is less qualified then others. I told her to never say that again because I believe the attitude towards achieving your goals, say getting a job you may seem unqualified for, is a crucial part of the mission. Anyway, I was looking for your article to share with her earlier as both motivation and a guideline to how she can go about it. She was recently tipped a sales position by someone on the inside, so she’s working on the prelim questions and I hope your piece is motivation enough to keep her going.
