Ciao! I’m Linda Ann. I’m an American from the Midwest living in Italy for over a decade.

I’m a recovering academic art historian making my way back to a more authentic and creative life.

My education moved from dance major in art high school, fine arts and art history in undergrad (BA), and then graduate degrees (MA and PhD) in art and architectural history.

I love libraries, archives, and museums.

I LOVE music and dancing.

I played piano and guitar for many years, but need to get back to both.

Yoga and gratitude lists always.

I started therapy last year (summer 2023). Best thing I ever did for myself.

Married for over a decade to a hottie Italian who is also an artist, into music, old cars and motorcycles, and tattoos. He is a welder and sculptor using recycled materials. I love wrapping my arms around him when we speed down the road on his Moto Guzzi.

I am in awe of how beautiful and precious life is.

I am super sensitive to energies and vibrations. I gravitate towards people with high vibrations.

I am still getting the hang of Medium and love reading your stories!

If I had to recommend one essay of my mine to read, it would be the one about mom. It was difficult to write. I am proud of how it came out.

Thank you for stopping by!
