Learning to Taste Color

As someone who guides people via the vibration of the color and energy around them, I’ve come to understand aspects of color that I had heretofore not considered. For instance, what does color feel like when you wear it or connect to it? That all depends on your spiritual connection or affinity to that color. Using the color spectrum of the rainbow (much like the colors of our chakras) it is easy to test what you feel when you wear, eat or are around certain colors. My method for testing color is to use it in relationship to the shades of colors in the food we eat.

Colors will tend to fortify us through the energy they provide, but you should not have too much of it on your plate. There are nutritional benefits to the colors you choose to eat, and just like when creating a menu, you want to have colors that compliment each other. You will soon discover that your choices make a difference in how you enjoy and digest what you eat, and how to live a healthier, happier life.

Here are three colors and how they can make you feel better just by the choices you combine on your dish at mealtime.

Green shades will tend to be more healing and come in the form of salads and vegetables. The feeling can be one of healing and security.

Red shades will tend to make us feel heartier, like steak and salmon. The feeling can be a sense of fulfillment.

White & light yellow shades will tend to tend to offer clarity to what we are eating. The feeling can be one of balance and completion.

These are meant to be suggestions. Don’t be afraid to play with your food through color. It is the first step in learning to feel color. You will find that by connecting with colors that make you feel good, even on your meal plate, can make a difference to your life.
