The Boston hip-hop scene gets better and better every day. It’s been like that for the last few years. There’s been constant growth and each day, we get closer and closer to getting a household name. When you go beyond the leaders of the scene, there’s a gang of newcomers and fresh names that are thirsty to get a piece of the action and make their own mark on the city.

The more I hear out of Boston, the less I become surprised with the artists and the quality of the music that is birthed here. Since our existence, we’ve taken a great deal of pride in discovering new talent especially out of the area and that remains one of our main goals here at HITP. Co-signs, Twitter followers or anything along those lines never have and never will play a role in what we support or value. With that being said, we would like to introduce you to our latest find out of the Boston hip-hop scene, PLAD Fine$$e.

Hailing from Roxbury, the TREELiFE Music Group representative is making his first appearance on the HITP pages and we’re sure it won’t be the last. Over the course of the last four months, PLAD released two songs/visuals in “That’s Finesse” and “The Scene,” en routing to grabbing our attention.

With slick and charismatic lyrics over synth powered backings and quality visuals directed by Calvin Deal, PLAD makes a proper introduction and gives listeners and viewers a taste of his talent and glimpse into his lifestyle.

Check out the videos below and stay tuned for more from the Roxbury rapper.
