This is the second time I’ve seen a Facebook ad for this company, and they’re being shady if not outright deceptive.

This is what they do: they create a fake Medium account, write a skimpy article, and then create an ad campaign around it, hoping that people who click through don’t do any digging and realize that this is not an unsolicited review from a third-party.

If you Google “Rory Polaski,” this single article pops up. No Twitter, no LinkedIn, no Facebook. No other articles about apps. This isn’t some passionate techy who wrote this because they love it. This is some horrible marketing person, trying to pull a fast one. And it pisses me off.
