The Productive Benefits of Journaling (plus 11 ideas for making the habit stick)

Terrific post, Becky. As someone who has been doing this for a long time (*cough* 30 years+) I do enjoy my journal and have experienced the benefits for most of my adult life. This year I kept a spreadsheet to record my progress on my goals for the year, but the file was deleted by iCloud (still not happy about that!). And the act of not ‘writing’ down my progress has significantly impacted on my progress. I have not started a new spreadsheet, but have since used my journal to note the numbers (weight-loss goal, and word counts for writing, etc) to get back on track.
