I agree with Karla’s comment below. Sure some say that texting can be so impersonal but who cares. Texting him would be much better than slowly drifting away leaving him clueless of what went wrong with the relationship in the first place. I suggest just being honest even if it’s through text. I think it’s great that you know yourself well enough to admit you would fall for “the trap” if he tries to make up with you if you two would break up in person. It’s very powerful to know your weaknesses and working around them so that you don’t end up regretting your actions.
