How to Import a Custom HTML Email Template to Salesforce — Liramail Editor
What is Liramail Editor?
In this article, I am going to explain to you how you can import a custom HTML email template to your salesforce account. Let get started.
Steps to follow for importing a custom HTML email template to Salesforce
1. Export the HTML file from Liramail Editor. If you use any other editor export the HTML file and have it ready.
2. Visit the Salesforce website and login to your account. Click on setting icon in right corner and click on Setup from dropdown options.
3. After following step 2, you will see the windows like the below image. Now click on the email in the left sidebar.
4. After clicking on Email. Click on the Classic Email Templates.
5. After clicking on the Classic Email Templates. Windows like below image will appear now click on the New Template button as shown below.
7. After clicking on the New Template button. A window like the following image will appear now select the option named “Custom (Without using Classic Letterhead)” option and then click on the Next button.
8. After clicking on the Next button. A window like the following image will appear. In the Folder field leave it as it is. Available for use Check it. Enter your email template name you want. In Encoding select the UTF-8 option. Enter the description and subject you want like shown in the below image. After that click on the Next button.
9. Open the exported HTML email template file and open it in the text editor. Select all the code and copy it as shown in the image below.
10. Paste the HTML code that you copied in the previous step and now click on the Next button.
11. After clicking on the Next button. Now click on Copy text from HTML version Button. IT will automatically get all the text from the email. Now click on the Save button.
12. After clicking on the Save button. The email is imported successfully as you can see in the image below. You can test it by sending a test mail. For sending a test mail click on Send Test and Verify Merge Fields.
