Something Beautiful for the World

I can picture it.

But it is digital; I can’t help it. That’s my world, and I can see how it can connect people across the world.

Picture this: an app that integrates snapchat, Instagram, camera — to allow people to share photos of inspiration — a beautiful sunset, a puppy on a street, someone helping an elderly woman with her groceries … creating a visual robe of beauty — photos, memes, small thoughts —

I can picture someone following the rope to a certain part of the world to see what hope and joy and beauty look like there, or creating a rope from a certain collection of words.

Where there is no mobile access, raspberry pi’s and satellite or portable internet could enable schools, communities to share their own hand-drawn images —

To leave something in this digital age that spreads hope, joy, love, happiness in the midst of every walk of life. I would love to be able to do something like that. If this isn’t what you’re thinking of Ted Rheingold — then thank you anyway for allowing me to float in the possibilities of such an idea for myself. If ever I have ability, you’ve given me the opportunity to imagine such a possibility.
