Such an important statement. In order to be sustainable, urban technology must first support and improve the fundamental experiences of urban living. Some of those solutions will also serve the needs of smaller cities and rural living, but some won’t. If this isn’t the premise we’re using within our quest for tech innovation, those leading the charge run the risk of becoming bedazzled by sexy tech that doesn’t address these fundamental needs.
