Hello from vietnamese Vancouver
Yes, very very very vietnamese city. And by that, I mean that my whole colleagues (almost) are vietnamese and it seems to be a very strange culture. Indeed, as I am writting this, my boss and her friends are dancing vietnamese dance in my living room, without my consent of course. This is a really weird thing to see your boss carrying flowers, singing and dancing in the middle of your appartment. That’s funny in some way. But that’s also crazy !
Unfortunately this is not the only thing I have to complain about in my internship. We can say that this is not the most funny part of the trip. Indeed, “marketing” means “everything” to them. I work in a company making maps and atlases of every countries of the world. It is actually interesting to see that, to see the different turistic destination but it requires a lot of handling and that’s the sad part of the job. Well, I’m not going to complain because housing is provided and Vancouver is such a beautiful city that I easily forget my labor days.
This week end was restful. I went to Kitsilano festival to see bands. I had the chance to buy 5 vinyls for 1$ only (including The breakfast club (I’m sure you know that → see the link below) and Forbidden games.
On Sunday I tried to plan my future week ends, there is so many things to do! Next steps will probably be Grouse Mountain, Seattle or even Whistler. It will be sporty but I hope I will enjoy it.

See you!
