Lisk 2017 Recap
Before Max and Oliver went on their holiday break, they dedicated their time to sit down and discuss achievements from 2017, as well as to express their excitement for what’s ahead for Lisk in 2018. If you haven’t already, make sure to watch the clip below and subscribe to our YouTube channel for future videos.
Development Updates
In the last month, our development team has contributed to 13 GitHub repositories. Lisk is among the top ranked for developer activity on CoinGecko with 163 merged pull requests, 277 closed issues and 515 commits (from the period between November 27 to December 27). Our next major milestone is Lisk Core 1.0, which under Oliver’s guidance is being moved swiftly towards a release.
We Announced Three Releases
- Lisky 0.3.0, which includes several new features such as account & transaction creation, file input and helper functions.
- The latest version of our wallet, Lisk Nano 1.3.1, was released with several security enhancements.
- Lisk Core 0.9.11 was released on December 21st with many improvements including quality of transaction pool documentation, quality of dapps module documentation and peers module unit tests. This particular update also saw the discontinuation of Lisk UI, our user-interface submodule of the Lisk client, in an effort to reduce the risk of our users being exposed to phishing websites and in preparation for new Lisk App rollout during the February Relaunch.
