The take away for men reading this article seems to be all over the place. Yet I wonder what one does who empathizes with women and accepts this article. Does one try to conquer this shame? Try to date people they don’t like as much? Do they carry guilt for past wrongs? Do they replace the old identity with a new one of even more shame of being toxic and broken sexually? Make insecurity seems to be as intricate and complex as the web of oppression that it puts on women. Untangling that AND being happy seems impossible at face value.
